Everest View Trek

7 Days

Panchase danda lies almost 28 km west of Pokhara.

Overview

The Everest View Trek is a relatively short trek in the Everest Region. This trek is perfect for you if you do not have enough time for the whole Everest circuit, yet want to immerse yourself in the beauty of some of the tallest mountains in the world. This trek is also of moderate difficulty, so you might use this experience to prepare for tougher trails in the future.

The Everest View Trek offers you 7 days of a magical experience, composed of walking through the luscious Rhodendron forests inside of Sagarmatha National Park. The trail is full of amazing species of flora and fauna and you might catch glimpses of the wildlife that is conserved there. When you get out of those dense forests, you will be greeted by scenic little villages and small settlements with a magnificent view of snow-capped peaks above the clouds. These villages are thinly populated by the Sherpa community. You can dive into their culture and understand the Himalayan lifestyle of the Everest region.

You can also find some monasteries in these settlement areas. Tengboche monastery, located at an elevation of (3867m), is one of the biggest monasteries in the Khumbu region. Surrounded by Rhododendron forests, the monastery is situated on a hill peak with an appealing view of Everest topography. The scene from this place is wonderful. You can get a view of the peaks like the Mt.Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Nuptse, Thamserku, Kangtega, Kusum, Kangaru, Malaphul, and Tawocha.
