In Nepal, more than 890 species of birds can be spotted inside and outside the Kathmandu valley. Inside the Kathmandu valley, Godavari, Phulchowki, Nagarjuna, and Taudaha are famous bird-watching areas where more than 500 species of birds can be spotted.

Moreover, outside the Kathmandu valley, there are various national parks like Chitwan National Park and Barda National Park that are popular places to encounter a wide variety of birds. Whereas Koshi Tappu wildlife reserve is the perfect destination for spotting both migratory and resident birds, the bird species include Lophophorus, Eagle-owl, Dusky, Bengal Africans, fish eagles, Woodpeckers, Barn owls, Hawks, Storks, Cranes, Bulbuls, Leaf birds, Sparrows, Swifts, Gulls, Crakes, Kingfishers and a wide variety of birds are found in Nepal.

There are almost 14 national parks and wildlife reserves that conserve and protect the natural habitats of many separate species of birds. The most popular bird-watching spot in Nepal is the Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, which is easily accessible. Other famous destinations for watching birds in Nepal include Chitwan National Park, Bardia National Park, and the Kathmandu Valley. Shivapuri National Park is the most accessible national park from Kathmandu and the most popular bird-watching destination in the
Kathmandu Valley. Furthermore, Nagarjun Hill and Phulchowki Hill also get great marks for bird watching.Some of the species of birds that are found in Nepal are Spiny Babbler, Himalayan Pheasants, Lhophophorus  (Danphe), Monal, Eagle, vultures, Bengal Florican, Lesser Florican, Cormorants, Siler-eared Mesia, Sarus Crane, Waterfowl, Brahminy ducks, Warblers, Flycatchers, Kingfishers, Peacock, Dove, Woodpecker, parrot, etc.

Our company representative meets you at Kathmandu airport and transfers you to the pre-booked hotel. After refreshment at the hotel, you will transfer to a Nepali restaurant for a welcome dinner with a cultural dance program. Overnight at a hotel on a bed & breakfast basis.

For the upper body:
-T-shirts are half-empty and full.
-Warm tops in light and campaign weights.

For Hand:
-Lightweight gloves
-Heavyweight gloves or gloves with a waterproof shell external (occasional)

-Sleeping sacks

-Large plastic sacks—for keeping things dry inside your pack or duffel sack.
